Question Headset Needed.....

I'm a new user of the Moto Q and I'm loving the purchase. I was looking around for a headset so that I could listen to the songs I have downloaded. For some reason, I'm having a hard time finding a 2.5mm headset. I never thought this would be a problem. I bought a regular headset with an adaptor but only got sound out of one ear...??? Returned that and bought a USB Headset ( Motorola) and was assured by the Salesperson that it would work...but it didn't.. ..

So I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good headset for the Q?. I'm in Toronto, Ontario so preferably in CDN dollars.. ..or a location near me, however I'm willing to purchase something online if need be...my commutes in the morning by train are getting very boring!!

I got mine on ebay for about $11 US, including shipping. The seller I bought it from is cellstation. It fits without an adapter.

I just got an adaptor from Radio Shack knowing that people complained about sound from one side only. Yes that was a problem untill I slightly raised the adaptor up out of the Q. Sound in both ears. I see that as a quick cheap fix, until I go out and get a Bluetooth headset.

I recommend the Motorola HT820 stereo bluetooth headset. I am on the train listening to Howard reruns through my Internet Sirius on my Q any surfing the forums. This headset is great.

Default Free miniSD and Headset (Sprint)

On these forums, there is information for Sprint customers to call Motorola to get a free miniSD card and headset, since they do not come with Sprint Q's. I just got off the phone with Motorola after holding about 7 minutes and I'll have mine in 2-5 business days.

Go with the Motorola S9 Bluetooth headset. Light weight with excellent sound quality and great battery life. . .

Default Headphone and Volume

I'm on my third different set of headphones for my Q and just cant seem to get the volume to play at a decent level. I have two pairs of Motorola and a pair of Sony's. It's not the headphones, but the volume level on the Q. Everything says the volume is at maximm level, but I cant tell from what i'm hearing. I have taken the same headphones and used them in my Sony Minidisc and IPaq's with no problem, but the volume on the Q just is weak. I was looking forward to taken the songs on my Q and playing them through my new bloothtooth car stereo or even using the front aux on my stero for sound, but looks like for music in the car I'm going to the Ipaq or another MPS Player.

I still love my Q and wouldnt trade it in for the world (Unless I get that battery cycling problem again!)

Ok, on the homescreen, press and hold the thumbwheel in. You will get a volume screen. Maximize that and it will fix your music level.
