Default extended battery info>?

When I got my Q back in October, Verizon was all "oh you should get this extended battery, the factory battery is as bad as the RAZR, it doesn't last 24 hours" - so i bought it. But this stupid battery doesn't last 24 hours either! (And I only use it as a phone / text, no internet or video) My firm's computer tech guy has a Q, and I noticed his battery was PHYSICALLY "extended" from the battery pack on the phone, unlike mine which isn't any thicker than the original battery.... whats the deal, do I need to buy a new battery?

AAAHHHH!!!! The famed extended battery question. My answer is yes, you need another(actually a real) extended battery. It sounds like the Verizon guys just gave you another standard slim battery.

I am a big advocate for seidio products. Their extended batteries are great, and you have 3 options(check them out). Depending on the size you want, which of course determines the amount of charge it will keep. I personally can go all day with the 1250mAh slim extended battery.

Also, I hear if you update your phone with the latest software it will preserve some battery life. Dont know if thats true for VZ folks, but I think its works for Sprint Q's.

Hope this helps... Enjoy your day

Sounds like you guys get quite the raw deal with Verizon. Bell Canada includes 2 batteries with purchase of the Q ($180.00 CAD) One slim, one fat boy (extended) at no extra cost. I still haven't even had to use my extended one, I can honestly get 2-3 days with watching movies/music etc. on the slim.
