Boxwave skin + Q clip?

I just got my BoxWave skin.. it really is awesome! I use an extended battery, so my selection was limited, but I'm really happy with this. It fits really well, everything lines up PERFECTLY, and it has a nice feel. But I have a problem.

I use the clip that came with the Q.. I love it.. it gets the job done.. my phone is always accessible.. its back faces out for optimal signal, and the speaker faces out so I always hear my phone. This skin is supposed to work with the clip, but it doesn't really fit. I don't get that great *CLICK* that I got without the skin, which would tell me when the Q was properly in its case. It also looks like the little clip arm things are being kept out instead of pushed outwards then back in as it clips around the Q.. which I'm sure is causing some sort of damage to the clip..

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions on how to make these two work together??
