Bad experience with shopcell.com I did a quick search on the Internet for a cheap Bluetooth headset and spare battery for my Moto-Q phone, and came across the shopcell.com web site. They had several name-brand Bluetooth headsets selling at a very low price, so I decided to purchase one along with a 1130 mAh battery. I suspected that the low price was because the headset was probably discontinued which was fine by me.
When I got my shipment the battery they sent me was the cheaper 800 mAh version, and the Plantronics Bluetooth headset was defective (mic didn't work). I called ShopCell to return the items, and they said I would have to pay for shipping and they would send me replacement items (why I need to pay to ship back these items, I don't know). So, I complied and after about 2 weeks received a new headset (they were out of stock on the battery so they credited my credit card). This second headset had some small scratches on it and wouldn't charge using the supplied charger. I tested the charger and it worked fine, so the headset is defective.
Obviously, ShopCell.com is sending out used and defective products, and in my opinion they expect customers to just give up on the return and exchange process. I for one don't want to bother with this any more, and will just chalk this up as a "fool me once" experience. However, I do want to warn others about the shopcell.com site and also add a note that "you get what you pay for". So beware when purchasing items that are priced too good to be true!
