Anyone ever use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter?

I just got my son earphones for his chocolate. Already 2.5 so no adapter needed. Works beatifully on his phone, sound is great. Since it has the 3 black rings, I tried it in my phone. Only plays in 1 ear........

i just checked the vzw site and they have adapters and headsets. would any of them work??

I dont see why it woudnt. I finally got a chance to use mine that I ordered from PocketPCTechs w/o microphone and they work great.

on the calls idk, i was at work so any calls i didn't answer, but it did ring through the speakers

If there is no mic built in, the caller will not hear you. I worked around this by using a bluetooth headset and un-check the "use handsfree for standard audio" in the bluetooth settings ....otherwise, you must unplug the adapter.
