Just get the $10 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter from radio shack, and while you are there, get a 3.5mm to stereo RCA cable -- if you don't already have one. It WILL work, it's just a matter of you being pleased with the power output of the sound..... sounds great on headphones, however...

I know this may be a re-post, but just look at it as me "seconding" the previous. I bought a retractable converter at Best Buy for about $17 w/tax.

Works fine with my BOSE headphones and my wife was able to hear me when talking on the phone... it was kinda freaky talking on the phone and listening to the other person in stereo though...

if the iPhone has the same connectors as the iPod, it will not work.

I bought one off of ebay for 8 dollars shipped. It is the one made by motorola and it works perfect. I think the model is ddk something. I also bought one from radio shack for 10 dollars because I was impatient. It also works perfectly.

find some you like and look on-line for impartial reviews.. i can't say which is best since i don't use any myself.
