The TeleNav software I downloaded did not say it was for a Q9 version, just Motorola Q. The Q uses WM5. The TeleNav site states that for this version, you must have an external GPS. I am not sure if they intended the "Q" version to be the original Q with WM5 or not, but that is how I interpreted it. Therefore, I asked about the WM6 version.

On my Q9c, I could not pair my Bluetooth GPS with my phone. There did not seem to ba an option to add devices. There are only options for adding a hands-free device, a headset, or a keyboard. You can also join a personal network, or add PIM synchronization. My guess is that Verizon disabled the ability to add a generic device so that you can not use an external GPS (just as they have disabled the internal GPS).
