I have a Q9c if that helps. I looked thru as many directories as possible but no luck.
My wife found it! Long day, tired eyes . . .

Only way it works!
Also self interest as she also just got a 9c as well. :-)
Her first. I upgraded to a 9c from a Q.

I've used this hack for almost a week now and here are some observations:

1. Q is slightly more responsive but the increase is neglible.

2. My Q will not stay charged through the night, where with the default speed settings it never had trouble.

3. Q doesn't seem to have as much "typing lag" while composing SMS messages and emails.

other than that I don't really know if this hack is really worth it. The only speed hack that produces real noticeable results is the "profiletype=0" speed hack...and that sucks battery like nobody's business.

Did this speed hack for 7-10 days. First day it worked beautifully. Then as the days progressed, it got a little sluggish. Then by the 8-10th day it had issues. It froze and even holding the red button wouldn't reset it. I'd have to pull out of the battery almost every hour or so.

So I had to hard reset. My thought on it is the "disable13mhz" thing is probably the thing that messed it up.

I didn't have any real issues with "Disable13mhz" enabled.
If causes the phone to be more sluggish after the first keypress but after that it's OK.

the OP said to put a "0" where it says "disable13mhz" which would seem to imply that it is disabling "disable13mhz" (double negative) vs. enabling.

I had identical problems... went in and manually changed all the values back to their defaults.
