saving off of you tube

Well what do you know?
If the flash video file association isn't checked, you can still play the You Tube videos, but just can't save them.

Just tried unchecking the flash video file assc. and it is cnfirmed. Seems odd that it can still play with it unchecked.....Hmmmm

Really?... I don't have mine checked and I can save off of YouTube with no problems. Only when I unchecked Flash Video, could I only play the vids and not be able to save them to my Q??

that is odd, Flash Video was checked on mine and i could not save videos...

For those saying they can save the files - are you sure you're actually saving the full file (which would be several megabytes big) or just the pointer/shortcut to the video, which is several bytes. because tcpmp automatically grabs the shortcut and puts it in 'My Documents' folder; i've never seen it save the full video file, though.

Oh yeah..... it saves the entire vid...

I actually download the actual music videos of most of the latest songs that are posted onto YouTube, then transfer them to my PC, extract the audio, and then put the audio back onto my Q........ Not full-on stereo, but it plays pretty frickin decent....lol
