Do you have that data plan? I spoke with a rep. and she said it was only for the three phones: BB WE, HTC Touch, BB Pearl and it expired Feb. 3/08. As for the volume screen and shutdown I'm not sure you can change it, but for sure I know you can change the startup screens. I'd recommend a search since I can't remember what thread it is off-hand. Surely, rudeboy knows.

they only advertised it for the BB WE/Pearl and the HTC Touch. It can be activated on any other smart phone as long as the voice+data plan is at least $45.

I complained that I have been a customer for 9 years and I feel that it should be offered to me. They agreed to waive the $45 minimum.

If you raise enough racket, they sometimes cave.

so I'm on the EPP 17.30 plus the $15 unltd data plan.
