Ok, do the following.

1) connect your Q to your PC via the USB connector
2) open active sync and connect it to the phone (should automatically connect)
3) From Active Sycn nav click: Tools > Add/Remove Programs
4) You will see a list of programs you may add or remove in the next pop-up box
5) check Resco Registry Add-in (it won't be checked) and leave all others currently checked - checked
6) click "OK"

It will now install the Reg Edit on your phone. You will find it in your Start menu.

Let me know if this doesn't work.

EDIT: This screen shot may help of what you will see on your PC.

Awesome, I finally figured it out! I installed an older version for smartphones. Does anyone think the values increased may affect the Q?

So what exactly does this do to the q? What is it changing? Overclocking or something?

The only problem I encountered was my IMPlus application locked up on launch after the changes. It was a trial version so I just uninstalled it. It may not be related to the hack... IMPlus has always been buggy software in my experience.

I did the speed hack; i changed it to the 32000 number not the 64000. I'm not sure if i notice any difference yet, i think the screens load faster. Do people suggest moving up to the second number? I've seen both suggested and wanted to get someone's opinion. Thanks!

Yeap, IMPlus definitely very buggy software, and I can't believe they advertise the current version as being compatible with the Q. 90% of the time is locks up my Q.
