Okay who can tell me where the incoming calls and in call screens are?

its not a matter of finding them..its a matter of replacing them...the qusers site thread tells you where they are for sprint phones...basically you can make your own images..rename appropriately to the correct files, and place them in your windows directory....change mine weekly..

FOR SPRINT USERS
the bin is not the vzw bin file on the Sprint version.
Rename it to: moto_logo.bin
then copy it over to \windows

I have a generic FW on my Q. I use my
info.gif
ques.gif
volume.gif
yell.gif

and moto_logo.bin

Still I cannot find the rest of *gifs to exchange... Should I edit the register to have my call-screen?

Also thou I used my moto_logo.bin the first 6 seconds of start splash remained the same... only the animation changed...
Is there any way to change ALL start-up bootsplash?

Okay, i'm going to put my two cents in this one (correct me if i'm wrong).
The gif screens are correct and can be tracked down in the registry, but the moto_logo.bin is the splash animation. The in call and incoming call screens are .png screens. These are the screens i could not find in the registry in the first place. They can be replaced with any .png pic and placed in the windows\..... folder. I have noticed that you can change them and you don't even have to reboot the phone to see the change.

you are correct.. they are not all .jpg/.gif, some are .png. and the startup screen is a .bin, pretty sure of that.

i don't see a need of changing them in the registry when you can just overwrite the default ones.
