 |  My call won't end.... after leaving a voice message for someone or the person on the other end clicks over to their other line.... The red "end call" button does nothing but turn my phone off if I press it long enough.... The call will disconnect only after the other person or the voice message ends the call... I did a search of the forums and installed the hack CallProgressIdleTimeout but no luck.... Any ideas?? because I'm really getting tired of powering off the phone to disconnect the call.... | Yep.... It seemed to work very well when I disconnected from regular phone calls, but then I needed to leave someone a voice message and the disconnecting never happened until I shut the phone off... |

| I have this same issue from time to time with my phone. I find that usually after a reboot it seems to work better, but as of yet I have been unable to pin point exactly what is causing it to happen. The call progress timeout didn't help with me either on this specific issue (though a good hack either way.) |

| I spoke with a tech at Verizion about this situation and he had me simply power off the phone, remove the battery for 30 seconds, put the battery back in and power the device back-up...... and bingo... problem solved.... Something about having the battery still in the device will not allow it to completely (soft) reset the system.... Yea, I felt like an ass... Tomsey... |
