MRU Launcher Question - Motorola Q Forum

Hey Guys,

I have tried searching around for this, but no luck so far.

My current homescreen (you can view it in the attached images) has the mru launcher at the bottom,

i've been trying to do the following;

instead of it showing your previously opened apps, how can i set it to show a standard set of apps that don't change?

that would be cool if anyone could answer that for me!

yup...you'll want to get rid of the mru plugin and enable the launcher bar plugin.

i guess you guys are right. never really thought of using facade, heh. the current homescreen i have isnt designed for the facade launcher. mabe i thought there was someother way, but yah, facade is the ideal way. lol thanks guys.

umm, what about Home Screen Shortcuts? Under personalize - you can define custom shortcuts. Well, at least on my Q9m... Don't know about the HTC

As another reply above states, this can be done without facade using the Sprint homescreen. How can that great feature be adopted from the Sprint homesreen without using facade (or why isn't it)? I have stopped using other HS because of that (really like the Battlestar Galactica 3)

I am thinking what Lineus is saying, why not use the home screen shortcuts under personalize if its not a facade or custom thirdparty homescreen?

I still ask; is it possible to include sprint's (or the Q9's) homescreen shortcut feature in a custom homescreen?

i dont see why not
you could copy the code from the xml from one to another and should still be good to go

i don't have any type of "personalize" options for any shortcut buttons. I don't have a motoq, i have an HTC... possibly different variations within the roms that we have for windows mobile 6... who knows
