Moving MY DOCUMENTS to Storage - Motorola Q Forum

I would like to PERMANENTLY move the location of MY DOCUMENTS to my storage card. SO another words, when I transfer files to my Q, it still goes to MY DOCUMENTS but it will go to the storage card. I know so of the other phones like the Treo has this capablity...can anyone help?

Can't you just specify that you would like to transfer whatever files to your SD Card? You can create a My Documents folder on your storage card as well.

If Im following what you are saying, then that wont work. Not only do I want to move the current contents of MY DOCUMNETS but I also want to change the current location ( on my device storage ) to the SD Card so whenever I transfer files to my Q, it will automatically go to the SD location, not the device storage ( the default for MY DOCUMENTS)

I hope this make sense

Even oics taken with the Q tries to save to the My Documants folder on the device but can be changed to go to the SD Card instead.

So you're saying that whenever you transfer said files, it won't let you decide where to send it?

think he want for anything created or downloaded to got to storage card by default, and not have to select it when downloaing/creating said files

Well yes...sort of....it puts it in my documents but its located on the device storage....Im okay with having it go to my documents all the time but I just want my documents to be on the storage card
