Moto Q bootloader reboots

I purchased a working moto Q from ebay but when the owner did a hard reset the phone failed. It kept rebooting and would not work even after a master reset. So I tried to fix it myself by using RDS light to flash the verizon rom back onto the phone. It looked like it was going to work then I got an error at the end and decided to try again. However evertime I turn the phone on it goes to the bootloader screen and will even start taking a new rom but the bootloader screen reboots after a about a minute so it will not take the new rom. Any ideas would be great. I am not afraid of soldering new components to mother boards.

Funny my daughters vzw Q is doing the same thing...havent been able to get it to master reset even.
