lol ok that makes sense. So if it is a desktop progy..then do i just drag my ringtones out of q, onto the desktop, run the progy, make them louder and then click and drag back to q and sync?

Before spending time doing that, did you try just increasing the volume in the profile like I suggested? Doesn't that help at all?

Please try the increase inside your Q. Quick. Easy. And it works! (Did I mention free!) I am in a noisy work environment and my Q was never quite loud enough. Is now...and I don't even want to know what the outside setting is going to sound like. Thanks for the great tip!

Yowsers ... changing the key from 3 to 5 makes the "old phone bell" ringer really come alive!

i saw your Auido gain thread, which registry file do i edit for louder ringtones?

did you actually read the Audio Gain thread ?!

HKLM\Software\Motorola\BPCTRLR\WaveDev\BaseGains

(which stands for Hkey_Local_Machine)
