Default Low handset speaker volume

It seems like the handset volume is too low. I have moved the slider all the way up, but it still seems too low. I usually use speakerphone, but only in private, as in public it's an etiquette issue .

I saw the hack for the volume, but it doesn't seem to work. I'd use a Bluetooth, but I can't find one that I like...

Have you increased your system volumes for each profile under settings?

Hmmmm...that didn't work...still have low volume

Any other ideas? I really don't want to call Verizon again; this phone is a replacement from my other one that went FUBAR.

Maybe I should add that it's in-call volume that is too low.

Did you hold in the Scroll button and adjust the main volume?

If you hold that in, and wait a few seconds, the main volume pops up and you can adjust the main volume.

So you went into Settings > Profiles > and then edited each profiles' volumes?

I have tried 4 different times and actually went to Verizon to get the volume adjusted for the media player. Thanks. They only did the master reset Has anyone found out if we can download ringtones yet? I have tried Myxer tones but it will not work for Verizon , they have it blocked out. Oh and did I mention that they gave me the address...lol

Wouldn't the settings only apply if you select that specific profile? I did edit the profile I use and turned everything to loud; speaker was still too low.

I use my CD's and edit the songs for ringtones. This is one I use for my voice mail .

Use a sound editor and you can make whatever ringtones you want, as long as they are mp3 format.
