I'm jealous of all you people getting 900+kbps. I'm lucky if I break 150kbps. I've called Sprint numerous times trying to get them to help me...but alas, they say nothing can be done. I don't get it. I have EV everywhere, but my browsing is down to a crawl.

I wish this DNS change would stick, because it helps out a ton! Whoo hoo, 181 kbps!!!

dumb question (totally unrelated)...is it possible to add an underbar "_" without using the alt & shift key and then selecting it from the menu?

When I go into it and get to the "DNS" part it won't accept any changes. It won't allow me to enter any numbers at all...........can anyone offer some suggestions?

when i reset the phone, my DNS goes back to default
which for USC is 166.181.191.17 & 166.181.127.17

what am i doing wrong??

no speed increases if i go dirently to IE after modifying the DNS

it's has been said in the very first post that the hack might not "stick", see here..

click on it twice and then enter the value and it will work but I'm not sure if it will stick cuz mine doesn't

It was said that killing IE resets the DNS...I haven't had that problem...It does reset DNS if you reboot the phone though

I did have a problem with really long load times, white screen that eventually timed out. Maybe DNS was resetting while I was connecting?

I would also like to know how to check the speed.
