Have you thought about just doing a hard reset? I know the pain it would be but obviously something is not right with the phone currently. Might be the easiest solution in the end.

Im not at home right now to try that but other post i see and the direction on the editor site is telling me to put the CAB file in my phone through activsync and i think thats why it isnt fully working. If so im not really sure how to put te file on there. I execute it or what ever and i have like six files the main file being .xml or something. Sorry for being so illiterate about this i think it just something simple that i don't understand idk!

To those asking if it will work on Sprint... My answer is no.
The default DNS settings are
68.28.146.11
68.28.154.11

When I tried it I could not get a browser to bring up a page

I'm on Sprint, it worked for me. I noticed a slight improvement, but as everyone else it keeps defaulting to my original settings.

Default OpenDNS.exe

Verizon Black Q. Went to the site and the exe file is no longer posted just the instructions. Navigated to my HKLM and DNS registry edit no longer available. Does anyone have the exe file that I can download and if the DNS edit is no longer available will the exe file work?

Thanks

DNS changes would work with any internet capable device. no matter what provider you're on. You can do this with any device that let's you change the DNS settings. It has nothing to do with the provider, but with the device. Kinda like saying a DNS change will work for me, and not for you, because I have Optimun and you have Comcast, even though we're running the same OS on the same computers.

BTW I've been running OpenDNS on my Mac and UMPC for a while, and it does improve browsing speed.

Just tried again on my phone with alltel, and ppl seamed to get it to work I messed with it a little and didnt really see a difference. But my default DNS settings are:
166.102.165.11
166.102.165.13
Should it still work the same or what?
