@ ebelp

According to the posters on qusers 1x users are seeing changes in speed also.

@ tharsmen

the dns ip's revert back when a connection is made. no when the phone is rebooted. so if you have nothing trying to connect then they will stay the same.

From my understanding you have to open you browser. get connected. then run that small app.

You are better off using the exe file that was supplied.

Ok, I did it. I see NO improvement, however, and it doesn't stick.

Is this fixed yet? Why don't I see an improvement?

It would take me more time to edit each time than I'd save browsing. Let me know if someone figures out how to make it stick?

I am EV with a strong signal. Wonder why I could tell no noticeable difference in speed?

Default Open DNS test fails

Did you try to test after changing to open dns? On my Q, I enter manually these two dns sets. I confirm it stay in my registry (by keeping open resco_registry). But I obtain Oops page and error page when typing craigslist.og as per 2 tests on Open_DNS.com website. There are proof that my Q ignores these open_dns settings.
- what do you do to succesfully browse with the open_dns settings? thanks.
