Well I ended up having to do a master reset because it wasn't getting any faster.
Now I have to friggin' reload all my info and all the software I had installed

.
So I went from getting about 700 kbps when I started doing some of these 'hacks', and then down to 400 kbps, .....all the way down to around 100 to maybe 150 kbps IF I'm lucky!! Even after the master reset!!
I am starting to think that the early enthusiasm of these hacks are getting the better of us, of 'me' atleast.
I never really saw any increases in performances with any of the internet '10X' faster, 'web browser' fly!!, run your CPU at max 314 MHz, etc....etc...hacks. If I thought I did notice any increases in performance, I could easily have refuted it to myself as possibly imaginary, because it was basically unnoticeable.
Now my Q seems a little 'fryed' and I will need to contact Verizon tech support to see if they can do something.....I'm hoping this is just a bad 24 hours for me and my Q, and just a fluke, because I mostly like the many things I've learned about mobile smartphone/ pocket PC technology from you guys here...just bummed that my connection is getting poorer by the second, especially on my tethering with my Core2Duo, 2 Gig laptop!!!...what a waste for that to go so slow surfing the web via my Q...
