one more question for u guys, someone posted over at howard forums but no ne ever got bac to him. is there any way to remap the ie and txt shortcut buttons on my keyboard to launch opera instead of ie, and extreme text instead of the standard txt program?

If you have a registry editor, you can edit the registries.
Try to do a search to see what you can find first.

search for association registry hacks and you can launch anything with anything you want.
