 |  [HOWTO]: Motorola Q1 Portrait screen rotation w/ nav keys fixed. I have done it, and here is how you can do it too: HKEY_Local_Machine/System/GDI/Rotation/Angle Default is 90. Change it to 0. !!Use ONLY 90 or 0. Anything else, and your gonna play hell setting it back to normal!! HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Motorola/Keypad/0x56 Default is UP. Change this to LEFT. HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Motorola/Keypad/0x54 Default is LEFT. Change this to DOWN HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Motorola/Keypad/0x53 Default is RIGHT. Change this to UP HKEY_Local_Machine/Software/Motorola/Keypad/0x47 Default is DOWN. Change this to RIGHT Reboot your phone, setup a custom-rotated carrierlogo.gif file (Use the Search feature or see the Moto Q Hacks thread) if you want to. Get a Portrait sized Homescreen and you're good to go. Discuss. I never searched beyond two pages to see if this has already been done because yes it is kind of a captain obvious hack. But still, what do the more experienced Q users this of this? I use it for large SMS/Emails that I feel like reading in portrait mode. And it feels better this way in my opinion. |

 |  wait... you have to do this every time you want to read a long email because you dont want to scroll? isnt it a pain in the ass to type on the side? i dont see the point
