How to shrink icons in the start menu and sub folders? - Motorola Q Forum

Currently the start menu and sub folders display 2 rows of 4 icons at a time. I wish to replace these with smaller icons so I can get 3 rows of 5 icons displayed at a time. How do I go about doing this? I don't care about icons on the home screen since I don't use them, just in the menus.

I dont know of anyway to shrink the actual icon, but there is a hack that gets rid of the sidebar, allowing for more icons on the start menu. The problem is that it is over the whole phone, so you wont have vertical scroll bars anywhere. You can also make them smaller (the scroll bars). I got rid of the scroll bars and have three rows of 4 icons on my start menu. You can also change it to grid, allowing a different way to view the start menu.

Toggleview...same as above hack but will post name for someone ot wishing to hack. On Q now can't find link..think rudeboy has one on his personal apps page...is this what you were looking for?

Are those three rows with or without the text under the icons? Can you post a photo of your start menu?

ToggleView just switches between GridView and ListView. I prefer just to keep it in GridView.

without....it says what the program is at the top of the screen anyway. there is a reg hack that you can do for both of those...i would post a screen shot, but i have smart toolkit...
