  |  Hacks in .cab form So I recently applied the "NoMessageSent" hack via .cab from http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/ and I absolutely love it... Great job with that... What I was wondering is how time consuming is it to take a "hack" and put it in .cab form for others to use? You know, those of us who are too scared to try and mess with editing their registry themselves...  I think it would be great to see a Thread that enclosed a bunch of .cab files of the hack for those mentioned above to partake of... Again, if its not alot of work to do... TIA

| I feel more comfortable seeing done myself than having a "black magic" cab doing something and hoping it actually changes the values. Although it did take me 6 months to start playing with registry hacks.

|  I think its scarier to download and install unknown cab.! I agree with those who say the fun part IS inputting the values yourself, getting the old proverbial hand dirty (or our fingers in this case!) And to me its scarier and often harder to understand what Im actually installing, using others cab. files. Every once in a while I check out the heavy hitters app pages, but they have no descriptions , so unless I saw them in a link before or go research the products (for apps.) on-line or do a search of the hack cab. file name on everything q (time consuming!) I have no idea what im loking at or if its suff I would want on my phone! Also I cant go back and fix it if it messes up or doesnt perform well, cuz I wont know where the values are in the reg. or what they were originally! Thats why the majority of us dont use "Smarttweaker" or something like that to do the hack Quote:

|  Just Download Smart Tweakers newest app. version for free If you want safety and eae of use, Use smart Tweaker. it has alot of the ones we use on the newest version, you can pick and choos what you want installed/hacked, and you can easily erase them all and have your original values waiting there for you! | its doable, I have the tool to create CAB files, but I'm not aware of freeware or cheap shareware tool to do it. If you want, I can create the CAB file for you. |
