Get rid of applications

I am totally new to any type of forum so be easy on me. I have an altell 9QC, purchased it outright so I didn't need the "data plan". Hence, I do not need the you tube, myspace, pocket express, internet sharing, ect, things and several others. I use the phone for data and want to get rid of all the stuff I don't/can't use. Is there some way of getting rid of these applications so it doesn't screw up my phone, (along with getting rid of the icons for them in the start menu)? Thanks for all your help!

the applications that are preloaded in the phone are in the ROM and can not be removed, they can be removed from the start menu however

use the file manager to create a folder someplace of your choosing, then navigate to windows\start up, and select the ones you want gone and move them.

The OP said he/she didn't need a data plan, but uses the phone for data... Confuzzled! OP, either make sure you have a data block if you are not going to use data and instead are going to use a wifi card, or be prepared to pay per kb...

and to remove programs, go to settings/remove programs. dont want to crazy deleting stuff.
