ok, i had one of the tech guys here at work walk me through the entire thing and i believe i'm at the last step where you have to find and remove the WMPInfo.xml file. i'll mess with it a little while i wait for my tech guy to be available, but in the meanwhile where is that file?

on the Q ? use the "find" function in the File Manager to locate it..

hi,

I like to know how to have video display at fullscreen (instead of small square in middle of the screen) but the registry hack doesn't work (no codec in the video key, and I'm playing rtsp sdp streaming)

not sure about the wmdm key hack though, any advise?

the only part i couldn't do was the very last step which was to remove the WMPInfo.xml file. i even tried the alternative to have it point to the new file and that didn't work. at that point, it wasn't worth it to me anymore lol

just download TCMP player. it's far better. no hacks needed for full screen playback

do you mean coreplayer?

unfortunately the old TCMP doesn't support rtsp streaming. OTOH, the new coreplayer doesn't seem to playback rtsp media well even though it claims to support that.

default media player is good enough for me, just the lack of full video size is killing me.
