Hi,

I have been looking around at you tube videos and all over the web about how you can get free internet on your cell phone by hacking it and how you can do it on some lg phones and i was wondering is this legal? and also could somebody tell me what proxy is because i am really confused.

You're getting services for free by subverting the programming from the provider.

Not even close to legal.

As for a Proxy server: http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/p/proxy_server.html

Well you can set up your own MMS server which is completely legal since you are providing your own server and using it instead of theirs. But the proxy server above is actually legal its only illegal if you are using your providers services in a way that makes it so such as subverting their security so your account doesnt get charged. At least this is the way I interpret the law.

QNC. Free but slow. Works fine with Opera Mini and Email.

Regarding the kbs used: any nightmares in regards to usage? When I send/receive for mail, I auto-logoff, but the <-- symbol icon is still on...does this mean I'm still using kbs? -->

no, the PDA icon means that you are transferring data. The arrows just mean you are in data mode rather than voice mode.

I am interested in some sort of free internet to. I wont use it much. Just once a while and I do not need it to be very fast. I did some research regarding qnc on the q. Wouldnt that work instead of the wap for free internet?
