I have a Moto Q9h from ATT. There is a dialup option to enter login info: id, pw and phone #, but nothing for baud rate.

I couldnt finish the cdma.xml file edit due to it being a system file. It wouldnt delete or overwrite.

Where did you find the download for QNC?

the baud rate you have to change from the "hidden" menu. Dial ##073887* and press send..it will send you to a screen to put in a passcode, code is 000000

over there you go down to data speed (or something like that) and you can set your baud rate to 14.4/14.4.......problem is that it doesnt stick...it keeps setting itself as 153

as for your .xml file. move the edited version into a different folder on ur phone via active sync. Then from windows explorer WITHIN YOUR PHONE, find the NEW .xml file and move it into the Windows folder (make sure you have overwrite checked in your settings) and this will overwrite the file

None of that works with ATT Q9h.

its very simple, so that you can sign up for their data plan and they can charge you $30-$50 a month. Its all a money making business plan. Plus I think they are trying to eliminate the dial-up network

But thats not free.

I think QNC is a Sprint deal.

There are other free internet providers. I found on in Mass.

I can dial up with my Q9h without any mods.
