I've been using qnc on my Q for a little over a year now. Its not fast by any means but for getting email and looking at simple web sites like this one it works great.. I hardly never use my phone for calling but do recieve and send email often.

Well even if you use a different server, you connect to it via your provider's service signal so I'd assume they would charge you anyway. Honestly gprs isn't THAT expensive considering what you can do with it, so I don't have a problem paying for it.

I am trying to use QNC but it says "Login error. Ensure you have the correct login information and try again."

A while back I called Verizon and told them to block all incoming data to my phone so that I can't be charged, will I have to call them back and tell them to change that?

yeah you can use your phone to dial up the interenet but make sure its dialing sprint network and not cellular.
but if you use phone as modem mode. gonna cost alot if you dont have the plan.

I've been using qnc for over a year now. I have Verizon service through Page Plus and they do not offer data of any kind. Qnc works good for email and simply web sites like forums and such.
If you use the site lnked on the prev. page it will work. No need for a proxy server like I had to use on the razr I use to have.

I was able to connect to Motorola Q forums but after a while it says "Login error. Ensure you have the correct login information and try again." again. Does anyone know how to get past this? Like I said I told Verizon to block incoming data so should I call them up and tell them to allow data?
