Different Fonts - Motorola Q Forum

What are the different fonts on the Q ?[or is there any ??]
because i know theres a place where you could change it but what are the possibilities you could change it to ?

k i found one of the places to change the system fontsize and theres a place where it says NM "segoe condensed" thats the font used on the Q .

i found it at \HKLM\System\GDI\SYSFNT

but i dont know wich font that changes because there is more then one place to find this but this is the first one i found ..

someone tell me if there is Different fonts to have on the Q

before doin' something try to find out what it is

you can use fonts from your desktop Windows... and you set it in the home screen.xml (unless you want to change it everywhere, in that case most likely in the registry as somebody pointed out already.

So if i were to change my registry to say Times New Roman, then the whole phone would be TNR, not just the homescreen?

i can only say possibly since i have never tried this myself... if that is the only reference in the registry to fonts, it should.

who ever tries this power cycle after changing it... in my early days of Q ownership i changed the font in my home screen and dismissed it thinking it didn't work... about a week later i power cycled the Q (i do this as little as possible) and got a pretty big shock unexpectedly seeing the font.. which was Courier New... let's just say that does look quite that well on a Q :}
