Default completely erase moto q 9c

i got a moto q 9c about 7 months ago.
and i recently bought a centro.
what do i do if i want to completely erase the phone. like data, and the account. i want it to be unactivated and everything.

i have windows vista, and im wonderin how i could do this.

master reset clears all your data out.. it's like it was when you first got it new..

no i mean i want a kind of clear that deletes my phone number and unactivates the phone. i want "not even boxed in the factory," settings.

i think what im thinkin of is hard reset

Your Q will be "unactivated" when you do an IMEI swap to your Centro.

A hard reset and a master clear/reset are the same thing.

Master Reset/Master Clear are 2 different things if you have a Q9h and there are different methods for performing them.

I do believe, however, that the other Q models have only the Master Reset option available and hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Ah, just took a look at the Q9h manual...seems a hard reset and master reset are the same thing and will restore your phone to factory-freshness, while a master clear just erases any info you entered.

Just checked on my Q9c and we don't have master clear, now I kinda want it.
