Just thought I'd post this that I found recently. I've been running it on my Q with no issues. You install it and forget about it.

Thanks. Yes, I had read those. This, however, is simple to install and runs in the background from startup.

but where's the fun in doing it the easy way ? :}

+ quite a lot of Q'rs get nervous if they see apps running in the Task Manager and kill everything in sight :}

I just use MortScript and kill the pmsnserver.exe thing while I'm at it

2 birds with one stone!

If you use MortScript save the following as killstuff.mscr (or whateveryouwantocallit.mscr). I put my script in the Startup Items folder.

Kill( "pmsnserver.exe" )
If ( WndExists("Main Battery") )
Close("Main Battery")

Sleep( 5000 )

no offense, but by not having the Charge Complete screen arent you potentially overcharging the battery thus leading up to a battery that doesnt retain a longer charge?

No, it'll stop charging when it's done.

im not reyin to sound creepy but if i leave the Q plugged in it can get pretty darn warm.

i dont think it will spontaneously combust lol

interesting, my Q9h doesnt' have charge complete message. It just show a battery icon with a small tick to reflect the complete charge.
