And it shows the original Loading Icon. The WM5, even though I had a different one installed (Marshall Skins).

I've even installed My new one, over my new one to see if something didn't take. I'll continue to much about with it, as I've moved a step closer to finishing this little adventure.

Ughh.... Aggravating.

Can you get the original WM6 one that Jon made to work? I had to install it 1st, then any other one would work...

I did it! And I hope I can do it again! I need to completely delete all the apps and folders and cabs that I dont need so I can clearly do this quicker!

K...Der! All I did was take the very first cab (WM6) and extract the mui with the WinCE CAB manager. Using that editor PE that Jon referenced replace images 1040-1055 and hit save as, and keep same name of course and overwrite. Then use the mini signer..sign that mui with the default SDKSAMPLEPRIVDEVELOPER. The text file should say Success. Go back to WinCE and hit add file, pick the edited mui. Before overwriting with this mui change the %system% to %windows% by clicking on the windows folder on that screen. Overwrite..yes. Close WinCE and I signed the cab with the mini signer..same deal..success. Not sure if signing cab helps or not but its quick! BOOM...it worked!

Yep, I've had his and others working, so I know it's just my process that is giving me fits. At least I've got more kinks worked out of it, and I'm getting there. At the moment, I've got a good set of images to work with and the finished product should be nice. I've just got to work out the final idiosyncracies.

The Flower looks nice. And yes, that is the exact route I've been doing, other than the signing of the CAB file. Mine installs, I just don't think it installs correctly. I'll fix that though, eventually.

Thanks Der...I have no doubt you will find that one tiny thing that's holding it up!

Here's one last one that I practiced with that kinda goes with my theme. But I'm sticking with the Ace for now! So if any one has any images or thoughts post em up. Like Jon I can edit an image to a point but I'm no real artist!



And unless I pay the $40 for the program my shop is only open for another 29 days! And I guess I can email the cabs to hockey or rudeboy or whatever!

Nice work everyone. I would love to have something mac-esque like this, but I need to work on cleaning the images up.
