Default Change click wheel direction?

Does anybody know if there is a way to change the direction of the click wheel from Up and Down to Left and right?

Just so I can move accross the screen to choose from my latest programs.

Not sure if anybody has asked this before or if I am in the wrong place or not. Any help would be much appreciated.

I know I can do that, but it would just be nice to be able to use the click wheel, cause I dont use it to go up and down.

just curious how often do you go left and right where you need it to do that?

so you use the d-pad for up and down in contacts/calendar/email....and other programs?

I would like to use it to get to things like, my sirius satelite radio, slingbox, IE, or to get to my bluetooth settings faster.

I also just dont use it at all the way it works now. I didnt use the back button there either till I changed it to speakerphone.
