Can't find Windows Folder - Motorola Q Forum

My cousin just got a Q and I can't find his Windows folder when I open his Explorer. Anyone else had this problem? I'm sure I could view my windows folder before I started playing with my phone, just been too long ago and I can't remember. Thanks

try to unhide your system files
menu--options then uncheck hide system files and folders
do this in the file manager

no that didn't work, i can see most other files but not windows, do i have to unlock the phone first?

Just checked my phone and both the Hidden files and System files are checked and I can see my Windows folder.

Here's how to make the Q's windows folder visible from your PC:

1) On the Q, go to the file file manager go to Menu > Options. Uncheck "Hide Hidden Files" and "Hide System Files"
2) On your PC go to any folder and go to Tools > Folder options (on Vista you must press ALT to bring up the Tools menu). Go to the View tab and check "Show hidden files and folders" AND uncheck Hide Protected Operating System Files.

I haven't experimented, but you might only need to uncheck the hide protected files option on your PC.
