Once I got to phone, mine doesn't have the "callprogressidletimeout" listed ... I have a Q, just Q, (the grey one). anyone know if this hack is an option for me? I hate that delay after the call ends.
Re-Read the first post, you are CREATING a DWORD.

I finally took the plunge, dl PHM Registry Editor and used this hack!

AWESOME! I absolutely HATE how long the "call end" screen stayed on after a call!

Mucho Kudos!

OK, pure Q nubie here and not a great tech person. I got my Q 9c yesterday and still learning my way around it. What are the steps to get the above hack to work. I'm not sure what to do to actually do. This will be my first hack ever and I feel like I'm breaking into the FBI computer system. Yikes!!

You should read the sticky about hacks up top...

You are gonna need a Registry Editor to do the hack...

I use PHM Registry Editor... Its free and fairly simple to use... just google it...

Hmmm, doesn't seem to work on my Q9h

I created the D Word, and I can go back to it. I've rebooted, I've tried setting it to 10, 1,000, and 100,000. There doesn't seem to be any change.

Any help?

dan
