cab file to remove 'Message Sent Screen'

ok so i came across this cab file that claims to
'Remove the "Message Sent" screen after a text message

i know there is a hack posted for that but thought a lot more people can use the cab file should they not feel comfortable editting the registry

now i havent personally tried this to test it out
(cuz honestly the screen to me isnt that big of a deal)

atleast you tried
so we know its possible it doesnt work with the Q9 but not tested on the regular Q

i did the registry edit, so count me out.

deleted the key i added manually a while ago... ran this .cab, but nope.. could not be installed. it looks to me like the .xml does not creates a "Settings" folder (so to speak) potentially an issue, secondly the _setup.xml states in the top "Windows CE Setup program"

(yes, i did the in between reboots)

wow that was fast to get a conversation started. lol
I was just scanning through all of the posts looking for tweaks and ran across this one and gave it a try.
I'm going back now to do the regedit, I feel sure that'll work.
Thanks to all for this forum and helping me and others like me make the Q the phone it should have been.

no problem.. it has potential if somebody wants to rework the _setup.xml. i gladly leave it to somebody since well... i'm lazy + i like manually editing the registry :}
