Default Battery trick

Not sure if this is considered a hack since its just a spare battery, but I want to share this with you all.

My old phone on the left(C168l has a BT60)

So I had the battery out and realized it was the same dimensions(except thinner) and location of the terminals to the Q9...

BT90 is the Q9h's battery(sorry for mixing em up)

When the BT60 is installed...it sits flush

Makes me wonder if Moto meant to have this battery in the beginning?

Powered up and I bet it'd give a day or so of standby...both are 3.7V Lithium and take a 4.2v charger like most small lithium cells.

I have found these cheap Moto C168l phones for $10 on sale, $15 regular at Walmart and Best Buy. It'd make on nice cheap back-up battery for when you are in a bind and have no charger, or know you won't have a power source. I am going to test it out to see how long I can run the battery with regular usage.

Mod, if there is a more appropriate place for this, please move it for me(the newb).

I feel like an idiot...I have been looking for cases and it's apparent that I just happened to get a Q9h with the extended battery and case.

So...now i am on the search for the original battery case as I have two original batteries:

The Q9m didn't come with an extended battery, it uses one that sits flush. The model is BT61.
