AT&T Q9H Global

So I read through all the hacks stuff but I'm looking for people who have actually done some of these hacks successfully (primarily the speed hacks) on their Motorola Q9H Global with AT&T.

I was thinking about maybe doing a speed hack but I'm not too sure how much "speed" I"ll gain and if there's any "side effects" to it. So yeah, anybody with the same device as myself, have you guys done any speed hacks on it? If so, which ones?

i'm hoping to find out this info as well. i have done some reg edits that are supposed to increase speed from ppcgeeks. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=2036


but i am looking for an overclocking edit to speed up the processor.

Yeah, it seems as if this forum is dominated by CDMA Q users... AT&T Q9H USERS UNITE!!!!! I feel it's superior having used both before!

Hay I just got a Q9h last week. and I would like to get all the "Pay to use" software off of the thing.

Like what? It's not really installed, when you click on the icons, for example the Myspace, Telenav, etc., it actually is a link to downloand/install the app. I just simply deleted the icons from the start menu.

P.S.
I think you have to "unlock" your Q9 before you can remove/delete stuff from the start menu.

Hmm. I deleted and moved alot of stuff from my start menu and start up without unlocking the q9h.

You know maria, I just did a hard reset of the phone and now I cant move around icons.

This is wierd. Could you provide me with a link or some info on how to unlock the Q9h?

Yeah, maybe you had installed something that along with the install/configuration it would unlock your Q at the same time. So now that you did a Hard Reset it's locked up again.

What I remember right now is that I downloaded something called EnableRAPI and it unlocked my Q. I don't have the specific steps I took because I have it all at home. But as soon as I get home I'll post back, unless someone beats me to it and hooks you up with a link or something.
