If you downloaded the file that I linked to in my previous post, Unlock-Q.zip, then follow these steps:

Connect your Q via USB cable to your comp and let ActiveSync run/initiate. Now, extract the Unlock-Q.zip file onto your comp. It should extract a .exe file. Click on the .exe file to run it. Next, click on Synchronize on ActiveSync. It should update settings on your Q.

After you synced your Q, go and try to delete some icons to see if the "unlock" worked.

From your phone's browser...go to www.ghisler.com/smartphone.htm and download the .cab version. It will then install it on your phone and allow you to go inside your registry and change settings. This is how you "hack" your phone.

Not sure which program you actually downloaded but go into the registry editor that you installed and go into windows/startMenu

I installed HTC Unlock. It is now a folder called accessories on my start menu. When I click on the folder it opens a HTC Unlock icon. I click on that and it open a program that says. Press unlock to begin. RSK says unlock. I press the RSK Unlock and it runs thru a bunch of folders changes a few things and returns back, to the the press unlock to begin screen. I don't know if I'm unlocked how even know how to tell if I'm unlocked. If I am unlocked I don't don't know how to remove/add icons to/from my start menu.

On top of all this I just got a macbook and it doesn't seem to work with it either. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Mostly what I want to do is be able to access my exel docs and transfer them back and forth easily. That was the main reason on getting the Q9H.

Thanks for your help.

hey beenjaamin,

when you say sync what exactly do you mean, i am able to do file transfers through bluetooth on my imac in leopard, just go to bluetooth on your mac and go to the bluetooth in your q and it will walk you through pairing up the device. If you want to sync with your calendar and what not then i'm pretty sure you need a third party app for that.

Yeah Q9H users need either there own thread or topic header in the Forum. I tried to speed up my processor using another thread in this forum but it did now work
