| maybe this is a stupid ques. but here goes: is it possible to put the 6.1 update on the q9m or is there compatability issues? I want threaded text on my 9m, and some of the other features without usin multiple apps. |

| Actually, since the firmware updates are downloaded from Motorola, not Verizon, wouldn't it come from Motorola? These things are always a little crazy. It all depends on how the sale contracts work, not the technical issues. When I had a Samsung SCH-i730, the upgrades came from Verizon, but not so with the Q9m, at least not so far. | I think what it is, is that verizon probably has to test it and then tell motorola when they can release it for the verizon phones...
