Default Volume control.

I want my ringer volume, text alert, email alert, everything, to go down when I need it too. Normal need. The only way I know of to achieve this - which I gather is SOP with the Q9m - is to push and hold the wheel until my sound meter pops up, then adjust it up or down with the wheel.

I do this. It does not change the ringer/alert volumes at all. It's always loud. I go back to my sound meter and it does show that it's been adjusted where I wanted it. What else should I be doing?

Thanks for any help.

E

Well Im sure you already know this but the way I do it is to set the volumes in different profiles and selct the profile that has the volumes I need for that time. example: I have one I renamed baby time, all on vibrate thats when my son is sleeping or im tring to put hims too sleep and another where everythng is loud for overnight to hear my alarm and emerg. calls. hope that helps.
