Default Video Lag

I'm trying to figure out why I have so much video lag on my q9m. I'm trying to watch video podcasts from dl.tv on my phone. And the audio is fine and fast but for some reason the video is behind the audio which is really annoying. It doesn't do it when I play it back on my pc. I also tired speeding up the cpu on the phone but that didn't seem to help. Any ideas?

I've tried WMP...TCPMP....Codec Player....and Core Player....I tired the same video in AVI format and WMV format. TCPMP in AVI format doesn't do it as bad as WMV in WMP.

In TCPMP you can adjust the A/V offset. Under options>settings>select page>advanced...try setting the A/V offset to -250.

That seem to have helped a little bit. Would messing with that setting (a higher or lower number) help? Also does TCPMP not support WMV?

sure, you can mess with the settings!

You need to select WMV under File Associations to view those...probably WMA also.

sometimes a soft reboot is needed for settings to take...

When I went from a Q to a Q9c I found that some windows media formats would not run in TCPMP. Turns out that you need a codec to play windows mobile media files (.wma, I know -- not sure about .wmv) in TCPMP running on WM6 that you didn't need for WM5. I forget where I found it, though...I think if you go to the Sirius WM5 thread on geekstoolbox there's a link to it somewhere.
