The first fit is a bit snug, but on the back of the case where the belt attachment is, there is a cut out with elastic around it. This allows it to stretch enough for the phone with extended battery to slide in.

Takes a bit of tugging initially to get it snapped on the top but after a period of time, it loosens up enough that the case slides on and off fairly easily.

Okay, that covers cases, how about holsters for a Q9m with extended battery?? lol...

I could be wrong about this, but I'm not sure if you'd need a special holster. Most holsters face in and I'm not sure the extra 'bump' in the back from the larger battery would affect anything.
