Time stamps for messages?

Seems a bit silly, but I'm unable to find it. Is there a way to turn on the time stamps for text messages so I know when I received them (or when they were sent-either or)?

I'm almost scared to try things on this phone since the other two died so quickly, lol. Any advice (or direction to instructions) would be greatly appreciated!

open the message and you'll see it..

I do open the message and the information is not there. There is no date or time for any of my messages. That is why I'm looking for another option or to see if this phone is faulty as well.

Yep, mine is missing that whole first line with the Sent: Date Time.

It only has the return phone number or name if they're in my contacts.

if you're looking at the message, scroll up. If you're in the message list. Press the right soft key and select Options > display. Then check "show date and time in the message list" that should do it.
