Default Texting/Picture Messaging/emails with attachments

All,

Just some questions before I go out and buy my first Moto Q!

1. If I cancel my text/pic/vid messaging with Verizon, can I still do it through the internet with my Q or Q9?

2. Are the Docs on the go the same as Word/Excel/PPT on my computer? Interchangeable? Can I build on one and send it to the other for review/edits?

3. What are the different ways I can import sounds/ringtones and pics to the Q or Q9? I'm thinking SD card and Get it Now. Can I do it through internet connection and then move it to my sound/picture folder?

Thanks for any help you can get to me/link me to!

active sync, SD card and download off the internet
then move it to
\application data\sounds folder
OR
the root directory of your SD card

3. you can download ringtones from many many sites for free and save them to the Q...

hope this helps.

For the answer to #2, if it is Office 2007, do I get Docs to go 3 from Verizon (what does this cost?) or can I download from elsewhere?

your q9m should come with docs to go
check the version on it
if you have the regular q or need to upgrade go to the software store of EQ and you can find it there

Office 2007 requires Documents To Go 3, but the Q9m doesn't have it. To download it go to: http://www.dataviz.com/products/docu...ile/index.html

Costs around $30 depending on how you buy.

I believe that you can get a discount purchase the update to Documents to Go 3 if you own the Q9m. When I looked at the website, they indicated that if your device came with Documents to Go, there was a discount available.
