Default Text Problem Envy 2 Q

I am having alot of problems receiving text messages from my fiance's envy phone. Both are VZW phones and i did not have any problems till i got my Q. Text messages are taking forever to go through and when they finally do come through they come through in bulk. Last time i received 4 messages from her at once and they were all sent over a 3 hr time span. VZW says there is nothing wrong with either phone but i can not figure out what would cause this, any ideas?

You said until you got your Q....how long ago did you get it and when you programmed it was your other phone turned off? There is sometimes a programming error when you are settings up an Advanced Device after having a standard phone that they don't program properly unless the standard phone is powered off. Try dialing *22890 again and programming your Q and it should resolve your problem.

Thanks for the info. I mentioned this to my local Verizon store and they told me that sometimes the "Q" gets "stuck" on a tower which is what happened to mine. We removed the battery and reprogramed the phone and it has worked great since.
