Text notification

Hard to believe that there's not a thread about this, but I don't see one after doing my search. Is there a way to stop the damn message after you send a text message that says "Info: message sent"? I don't know how many "pages" I've sent due to hitting the ok button to that message while typing out another text. Aso since I'm thinking about it here. What format and location do you put sound bites that you want as your new text message sound? I have the bite from Monty Python with the arrow and "Message for you sir". It's a .wav. It's on my sound card, but for some reason I can't get the device to see it. Does it need to be MP3? Or is a wav file ok and just needs to be in a specific system folder? (Did not do a search on that one sorry!)

it can be a wav file
make sure if its in the storage card make sure the file is NOT in any folder otherwise the phone will not see the sound file
then go to
start
settings
sounds
to pick your sms tone

Thanks. I have it saved in my "sounds" file on the memory card. I'll move it later when I get home.

HA! I added your site to my favorites and I'm going through all your apps! lol Ok not really, but I did do the fix to get rid of the damn annoying text message sent splash. Thanks!

oh really they are not my apps... i just store them (partly for my own convenience :}
